Qods City Council Building Project – Tehran – GFRC Shamse Panels
The Qods City Council building in Tehran is one of the successful projects showcasing the use of modern construction materials. In this project, GFRC panels were used as one of the main materials for the building façade. These panels were combined with natural stone to create a durable and visually appealing exterior.
The GFRC panels used in this project were custom-designed at 60×60 cm and are referred to as Shamse panels. Shamse panels are typically employed to create precise geometric patterns in building façades.
The panels were installed using the “fixed” method with specialized screws, ensuring they remain securely in place and preventing any movement or displacement.
Executed in 2020 (1399 Solar Hijri Calendar), this project has been recognized as a successful example of the effective use of advanced materials in architecture and construction.
