Edima Grand Tower – Noor, Mazandaran
The Edima Grand Tower, located in the city of Noor, Mazandaran Province, boasts an exceptional location with a unique and captivating view. According to the Edima Group:
“Edima is not merely a luxurious and prestigious residential complex; Edima is a lifestyle. From the very beginning—land selection, design, construction, to management and operation—we have pursued one goal: creating a life filled with comfort, joy, grandeur, magnificence, and beauty. We searched across the vast land of Iran for the finest and most beautiful site, until we reached this very location—facing the Caspian Sea and adjacent to Noor Forest Park, the largest forest park in the Middle East. Here, the wonders of nature come together: the best accessibility, ideal air circulation, cutting-edge global technologies, and five-star hotel-quality services and maintenance to ensure ultimate comfort for our residents.”
From water sports in the sea, rooftop pools, and a unique swimming pool on the 15th floor with panoramic views of both the sea and forest, to a safe and serene cycling track on the 14th floor with spectacular scenery, international five-star restaurants, cinemas, and numerous other recreational and sports amenities—every detail has been designed to bring joy and fulfillment to the residents.
The architectural and interior design team has gathered maximum beauty, grandeur, and elegance throughout every space—from the public lobbies, coastal gardens, and rooftop gardens to the refined interiors of the apartments—creating an unparalleled living environment.

GFRC Façade Components
The GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete) panels of the Edima Tower façade were exclusively designed and manufactured, with their large quantity resulting from the tower’s curved form.
The façade of Edima Tower features GFRC panels produced in various types—A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H—each specifically designed to accommodate the tower’s curvature and ensure seamless integration of its form. The dynamic design and the sweeping curve of the tower required a significant number of panels in different sizes and angles to achieve full façade coverage.
Each panel type was uniquely engineered according to the specific dimensions and curvature requirements to create a harmonious and flawless appearance. This process demanded a high level of precision in both design and production, as well as the application of modern installation techniques.
The choice of GFRC for the façade of Edima Tower provided both the strength and flexibility necessary to realize this complex and elegant design.
This remarkable level of detail in design and execution has made Edima Tower a symbol of modern architecture in Iran, showcasing the perfect fusion of creativity, technology, and engineering.
GFRC Flashings
In the façade design of Edima Tower, custom-designed GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete) flashings have been developed, incorporating dedicated slots for the handrail glass panels. This design not only contributes to the overall integration and harmony of the tower’s façade but also reflects the high level of creativity and precise engineering applied in the project.
Key Features of These Custom Flashings:
- Design and Functional Integration: The handrail glass slot is embedded directly within the flashing structure, eliminating the need for additional parts or separate designs.
- Aesthetic Elegance: This approach gives the tower façade a uniform and modern appearance while emphasizing the building’s curved lines.
- Advanced Engineering Performance: Made from GFRC, the flashings offer high strength and durability against environmental conditions. The handrail glass placement has been precisely engineered to ensure both stability and safety of the system.
- Time and Cost Efficiency: The integrated design and production of the flashings and handrail system accelerate installation while reducing separate design and installation costs.

Edima Tower Designer
Dr. Kashef, a distinguished and experienced professor in the field of design and architecture, played a vital role in the design of the Edima Tower. Located in the city of Noor, Mazandaran Province, this project is recognized as a masterpiece of modern architecture.
The Edima Tower, with its GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete) façade produced and executed by the Inab Group, showcases a perfect blend of beauty, durability, and innovation. Dr. Kashef’s precise and unique design, combined with the expertise of the specialized execution team, resulted in a distinctive and elegant façade. The design not only incorporates modern technologies but also balances aesthetic and functional aspects.
The use of GFRC as the façade material has provided key advantages such as lightweight properties, high strength, formability, and resistance to climatic conditions. These features have enabled the Edima Tower to stand out not only in terms of aesthetics but also in functionality and longevity, making it a benchmark in modern architecture.
As one of the most significant architectural works in the region, the Edima Tower reflects the integration of art, science, and technology in contemporary architectural practice.
Edima Tower Façade Installation without Scaffolding
The installation of the GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete) façade panels of the Edima Tower in Mazandaran was carried out using a dry method and without scaffolding, executed directly from inside the floors. This approach highlights the use of advanced technology and modern techniques in façade construction.
Key Advantages of This Installation Method:
- Fast and Precise Execution:
The dry installation method, performed without scaffolding, accelerates the process while ensuring higher precision. - Enhanced Safety:
Installing from within the floors—especially in high-rise projects—significantly increases worker safety by eliminating the need for scaffolding and reducing risks associated with working at heights. - Durability of the Façade:
GFRC panels are highly durable, resistant to various weather conditions, including wind, rain, and humidity, ensuring long-term façade stability. - Application of Advanced Technologies:
This installation method reflects the adoption of state-of-the-art construction technologies. The use of dry systems executed from inside the floors demonstrates progress in façade installation techniques for high-rise projects.
- Modern and Elegant Appearance:
GFRC offers a sleek, contemporary look and allows for the incorporation of intricate design details, enhancing the building’s overall aesthetic.

This innovative installation method represents a significant advancement in modern façade construction, particularly in high-rise developments, by combining safety, efficiency, durability, and architectural elegance.
